I’ve been asking in my heart for the scripture to confirm it. And now I see.

For quite some time I’ve wondered where scripture guarantees a sweeping revival worldwide that will call countless people to Christ’s loving arms.

Joel chapter 2 has it!

And it begins with massive prayer from God’s people crying out for those who have not yet heard the good news.

“Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping and with mourning: And rend your heart, not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.”

      -Joel 2:12-13

“Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord…”

     -Joel 2:17

And watch what happens next!

God takes action!

“Then will the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity his people.”

     -Joel 2:18

God even encourages us not to lose heart as we pray. WE MUST PRAY!

“Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things.”

     -Joel 2:21

He tells us that He will pour out blessing! That means continual flow of love, prosperity, peace, joy, righteousness, freedom, justice – the list goes on and on – all things good!

He promises that those who pray and give their all on behalf of this REVOLUTION will not be ashamed of their boldness.

“And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.”

     -Joel 2:26

We pray.

We have faith.

We don’t give up.

We care more than we can imagine.

And then comes the explosion!

“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered.”

     -Joel 2:32

All this is foretold to happen before the “great and terrible day of the Lord.”

So this harvest, this outpouring is a precursor to the second coming of Christ.

Let everyone take up their sword and pray!

Let us never lose heart!

Go Jesus!

Bless you all,
