DON’T BE AFRAID TO BE DIFFERENT!

Peter wanted more!

He knew Jesus was full of power. And he wanted more of it.

But not only did he ask, he took a step. And that step took him right into the middle of a legendary miracle!

We all feel it in our souls. We feel the Lord’s power. We wonder if we’re insane. But it’s there!

All we need to do is ask for the Lord to show us how to use his influence, his love and his wonder working power. And the scripture shows that he will provide it.

I would encourage us all to seek this power for his glory, to build his kingdom and to ultimately bring more brothers and sisters into heaven’s community and family.

Don’t just pray for someone’s salvation. Do something!

Invite them to dinner. Give them a gift from your heart (ask the Lord what you should give.) Speak life and encouragement into their lives prophetically (again ask the Lord to reveal the secrets of their heart.)

And don’t stop praying.

Remember if we mess up, he’s there to catch us. And remember, where there’s no risk, there’s no miracle!

Check out this passage and notice two things: PETER ASKED JESUS TO GRANT HIM POWER TO WALK ON WATER AND JESUS FULFILLED HIS PRAYER and PETER GOT AFRAID WHEN TROUBLE CAME, BUT JESUS CAUGHT HIM!

God bless you!

Matthew 14:28-31

28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
